The Hintertux Glacier rises at the end of the Tux valley, a side valley of the Zillertal about 20 km south of Mayrhofen. Its lifts climb from 1,500 m at the valley station to 3,250 m.

Wikipedia describes ski operations as typically possible from early autumn until late spring. The operator’s ski-area page, checked on 8 November 2026, says more lifts and pistes open as the autumn season develops, including the area around the Sommerberg. The official lift and slope status shows what is open on a given day.[7][1][4]

Does this page cover the whole Zillertal 3000 pass?

No. The Ski- & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000 pass also covers Eggalm, Rastkogel, Finkenberg, Penken/Mayrhofen and Ahorn, up to 206 km of pistes in all according to the operator. Eggalm is reached from Hintertux by ski bus. This page covers the Hintertux Glacier only.[6]
